RG Examination Application

The Recognized Graduate designation is the first step in obtaining a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) designation. To learn more about the RG designation, download and read the Recognized Graduate Handbook and Application in PDF format.

CDT Comprehensive or RG Written Exam: $190
CDT Specialty Written Exam: $190
CDT Practical Exam: $455*

* (This includes a $55 non-refundable one-time application fee.)

Candidates for examinations must submit a completed application and payment for a specific examination. If approved, the candidate will be sent a confirmation postcard or exam materials (depending upon the date of registration).
